Health supplies for remote Amazon clinics

During the Covid-19 pandemic, in July 2020, Help Peru partnered with DB Peru to support three remote health centers in the Amazon that collectively serve around 40,000 people (in Mazán, Indiana and Orellana – Loreto region).  These remote clinics (representing 72 staff members, including doctors, nurses, nurse midwives, technicians and biologists) received the  following health supplies: PPE, intravenous supplies, oxygen and temperature monitoring devices and supplies, and disinfecting supplies.

DB Peru is an international volunteer effort that provides medical treatment and care, and healthcare education to communities in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest.
